suStarted in 1959 by Mr.H V Shankara Narayana a Technocrat, with technical assistance from Austria and Germany
OMICRON TOOL WORKS is the first unit in India to start the Manufacture of HSS Tool Bits.

Being on the threshold of SIX DECADES in the field OMICRON TOOL WORKS can proudly claim to be the Pioneers of
HSS Tool Bits / HSS Metal Cutting tools.

While the company has maintained a low profile in the Indian cutting tool Industries it continues to retain its name for quality.

The Sole Proprietary Company is managed well into the second generation by the Chief Executive Mr. H V Murali Shankar, Technocrat with a degree in mechanical Engineering and specializing in the heat treatment of the high speed steels since over THREE DECADES under the guidance of Late H V Shankara Narayana, who himself was a authority on heat treatment of High Speed Steels.

Mr. H V Murali Shankar has interacted with m/s BOEHLER Steels, Austria, world leaders of manufacture of High Speed Steels and
DEGUSSA GmbH, Germany, world leaders of manufacturers of heat treatment furnaces for a number of years.
